oh my word…  can one pregnant momma be more perfect?  seriously, when i was pregnant with each of my children, i carried them in all sorts of body parts, where indeed, the baby was NOT growing.  i wouldve given anything to have a belly like this one while maintaining legs of those of a dancer (which julie is).

my associate {christy pacanowski photography | couples division} photographer, anya, shot this session this week in the bitter cold!  love the images!  so excited to meet that lil baby soon!!  thanks julie and anthony, for allowing us to get these beautiful images of your family as you await the new addition!

rockwell sessions were a big hit last year and so much fun to shoot!  basically, a rockwell session is a styled, digital mini session for families, kids, or sibling sessions.  offered on four different dates, each session date will have its own unique look still true to christy pacanowski photography style.  many people use an image from one of the rockwell sessions to create christmas cards too, since you get the digital files with copy and printing rights!  another great part?  they are offered on saturdays.  beside rockwell sessions, christy doesn’t typically shoot on weekends, so this is more convenient for family schedules.

the dates are:

april 28: spring fun… rain boots, umbrellas, and spring style. great for kids or families!
may 14 (this is a monday): bed in a field…the vintage bed sessions are back by popular demand!
july 7: life’s a beach… sessions at the state park in the dune grass and by the water.
september 15: urban living room… ill be getting the couch out to drag to an old run down urban location.
october 6: fall fun…  an old little barn location with possibly fall colors to mix in as well.

so call the studio and book your session!  the $450 (not refundable, but transferable with a small fee) paid by credit card when you book the session includes a pre-session wardrobe consultation in your home in the holland/zeeland area (small fee for travel to outside areas), a 15 minute session, and copyrights to 10-15 digital files for you to print and use as you wish!

here is the event for all the lil’ dudes out there!  since the lil’ girls can get some free valentines at the matilda jane trunk show,  i wanted to offer an event for the lil dudes to get the same thing!

so you are invited to come in for the “share the LOVE” event on january 26 anytime between 9:30-11:30am or 4-5:30pm with your little lover boy dressed in his most handsome duds.  i will grab a few pics of him and then have 20 free valentines cards ready for you to pick up in time for valentines day!  when you come, i would love it if you would join me in “sharing the LOVE” by  bringing in a pack of diapers or a few packs of baby wipes for the teen moms in YoungLives.  YoungLives is a ministry of sharing Jesus’s unconditional love for teen moms in the greater Holland area.  there are many different aspects to the ministry including monthly club gatherings, one-on-one mentorship, weekly lunches at area high schools, and week-long camp with moms, babies, mentors…all sharing living quarters! for more information about YoungLives, check them out here!!

announcing…. senior share-a-shoot!

who:  class of 2013 seniors with 1-2 friends… girls or guys, cousins, siblings, friends, classmates, BFs, BFFs, facebook buddies….whoever you want to share a shoot with!

what: book a session with a friend, share the cost of the session (must be paid in full together), the time, and the proofs. cost includes make up for one.  if you want to add-on make up, its $15pp.

where:  you choose the location type, just like you would a regular session.

how:  when you call to book the session, just let me know you want to share a shoot!  i will email you the form that each of you will need to print, fill  out, and send in with the session fee. you will come to the studio together, get make up together, and and show up for the session together.  i will switch back and forth between you and i can shoot one of you while the other changes outfits to make the most of the time!  the online gallery will include pics of each of you (the number of proofs offered will be divided between you) and a few together (if you choose to have those taken). you will then be required to order separately and pay for your print order separately (collections can not be purchased together/shared).

super excited to announce one of the new offerings for 2012….

the e-baby.  you pay for the session fees when you book the session ($245 for all three sessions). and then once you see the images from the session, you can choose to either purchase images ala carte after each of the sessions, OR join the e-baby.  the e-baby plan will give you the cd from the first session right away and also cds from each of the other 2 sessions at 6 months and one year.  payment is either made in full at the first session, or made in two installments at the newborn and 6 month sessions.  total cost for the e-baby plan is $1350 (plus tax), which saves clients who would have purchased the cd from each session $650!  e-baby offers newborn clients the option to create their own birth announcements, make their own first birthday party invitations, and print whatever prints/canvases/albums they wish!
